If you use Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp, it’s impossible that you haven’t heard of Meta, one of the biggest communication platforms online. Since 2004 the users have been growing day by day and nowadays, we can’t imagine how life was without it!
One of its numerous team members is coming to AI Weekend, and that is Patrik Tovaryš, Public Policy Manager CEE at Meta! He joined Meta in 2022, and now he handles the company’s regional public policy strategy and maintains key relationships with policy stakeholders in Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia. Patrik also oversees AI and network connectivity topics across the CEE region.
His career includes serving as a government official at the Office of the Government in Czechia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, where he led a team focused on regulating online platforms and shaping Czech positions on EU legislation.
