This year’s keynote speaker comes directly from the heart of Silicon Valley. Sheel Mohnot, a prominent partner at Better Tomorrow Ventures and one of the most influential voices on the global startup scene, will headline the festival. As an investor, podcaster, and fintech entrepreneur with deep industry experience, Sheel offers a unique perspective on how the world’s top investors think when backing technologies that are already changing how we live and work. His deep dive into AI, innovation and risk management will undoubtedly be one of the festival’s most powerful and inspiring moments.
Also taking the AI.Weekend stage is a representative from one of the world’s most influential digital platforms – TikTok. Łukasz Gabler, TikTok’s Public Policy and Government Relations Manager for the CEE region, will share how advanced AI solutions are being integrated into digital products and how global companies are adopting and scaling these tools at lightning speed, rewriting the rulebooks of their industries along the way.
New vision for AI.Weekend
This year’s AI.Weekend is guided by a new Program Director, Nikola Pavešić, an experienced consultant and the master of regional tech and startup scene. He is bringing strategic focus and global relevance to the festival’s program
“AI doesn’t ask for permission, it’s changing everything around us at a pace we can barely keep up with. As Program Director, I don’t want this to be just another tech conference full of vague promises. My goal is to bring together the people who are building that future now, the ones who can show our audience what AI looks like in action, across industries and everyday life. We’re working hard to bring investors who are funding the AI revolution, developers who are building the tools we use every day and leaders who carry the responsibility of bringing AI into traditional industries. Rovinj won’t be a place for theoretical debates, it will be a decision-making hub where ideas take shape that will define the next few years and we’re incredibly excited about that”, Pavešić said.
What Else to Expect?
Alongside Mohnot and Gabler, a strong lineup of regional voices will polish off the program. Božidar Pavlović, Partner at AYMO Ventures, will offer deep insights into venture capital, investment and financing AI innovation. Ervin Jagatić, Product Director at Infobip, will dive into developing product strategies in the AI era and the challenges of scaling AI solutions. Josip Ćesić, Gideon’s Co-founder and CEO, will share his firsthand experience building advanced deep tech products, while Srđan Kovačević, Co-founder and CEO at Orqa, will reveal what it takes for a Croatian hardware brand to achieve global success and how they’re changing the way the world sees FPV (first-person view) technology.
